# SSL Certificate Generation limit

Hi All,
I may have reached my limit on certificate issuance as my site has been rebuilt on many occassions. "ecpmog.store"
Is there a way to retrieve any of the current certs to use in rebuilding my site?
Any suggestions on the fastest way forward would be appreciated

Yes, as the certificate are in the public domain anyway. _However_, certificates are useless without their corresponding **private key** and those are _NOT_ in the public domain, obviously.
You can restore your certificates by downloading them from sites such as [https://crt.sh/](https://crt.sh/) and fetch the corresponding private keys from one of your recent backups.

Thanks for your prompt advise. I have a feeling this was not backed up. In case there is not a backup, any idea of how long of a wait there is for the next cert activation ?
