I've changed the hostname to example.com, but realise that all publicly trusted certificates are (mandatory) submitted to certificate transparancy logs and thus public knowledge. And with that the hostname too.
So "security" by obscurity is not really a thing.
So what would be the best way to secure my home network(LAN) when my server app (api) will be exposed to web?????
Also, IPv4 space is really small and scanning the entirety of it only takes few hours/days.
Compering to ipv6 it is realy small
Or less than 5 minutes if you have a 10 Gig uplink.
