Securing AWS Lightsail Node.js Instance with Certbot

We take pity on you for your use of "the (disfunctional/over-complicated) Bitnami" - LOL

We shall overcome it [together]!

Lol many thanks, I wish Bitnami wasn't bundled with AWS Lightsail Node.js instances by default :pensive:

Okay so an update, my team wants to go ahead with bncert which has been much easier. However, while https://vts.wtswpsandbox.com is secure vts.wtswpsandbox.com isn't and doesn't redirect automatically to the secure site.
Also, while I can manually get the Let's Encrypt certificate, I get an error stating that it won't be automatically renewed.

Here's the relevant link in question: Learn about the Bitnami HTTPS Configuration Tool
However, I am unsure how to proceed with these steps, can anyone assist here:

If pics are all you can post go ahead. But, they are much harder to work with. We can't copy paste into our personal debug tools. And, we can't easily reply to just parts of your post.

This really sounds like a problem better addressed to the bitnami forum as the messages suggest. It is going to be some sort of system configuration issue. We often give advice on common configuration issues but yours is not common.

That said, what was in the log file (pasted below)? Did it give any clues why it said auto-renew won't work?

And, can't you just manually update your Apache VirtualHost and add a redirect statement? Or correct the one(s) you have? One of the errors said something about the auto-renew might not work because of faulty redirects. Maybe something got left behind from your tests with Certbot --apache possibly.
