Renewal reminders due to confusing new name

We're getting renewal emails for one of our domains which say this:

Your certificate (or certificates) for the names listed below will expire in
9 days (on 05 Jun 17 10:48 +0000). Please make sure to renew
your certificate before then, or visitors to your website will encounter errors.

manyworlds.space
www.manyworlds.space

Looking at the server, everything is fine, but the name list in the not-expiring certificate is:

manyworlds.space
new.manyworlds.space
www.manyworlds.space

I know that a mismatch here can generate these reminder emails, but nobody involved in this site knows how on earth that extra domain got added. As far as I know, since initially running certbot to install via the Apache module, we've not changed anything, and certbot --renew has been running from /etc/cron.monthly.

Any ideas what could have caused that additional domain? Is it something we've not configured properly?

Never mind. I found this in the command line history of the server:

$ certbot --apache --domains manyworlds.space,www.manyworlds.space,new.manyworlds.space,52.91.153.97

So I guess that explains where it came from. Just need to figure out who typed it :slight_smile:
