I’m not clear if I understand correctly the Renewal Exception as described on https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/ . Does renewals count into Certificates per Registered Domain limit, but in case it is reached I can still renew (exception), but not issue new certificate? Or can I always have 20 new certificates, no matter how many renewals I had.
Lets have an example. I had 20 renewals this week. Sure I can have more renewals. But can I have a new certificate registered, so have first 20+ renewals followed by 1 (or even 20) new certificate?
