Seems like you enabled IPv6 since your last renewal.
DNS provides your system with IPv6 and IPv4 addresses.
Your system favors IPv6 and that path fails.
Your system doesn't revert to IPv4 afterwards.
I would [actually] disable IPv6
OR
Prefer IPv4 [when both are available (from DNS)]
You've already tried to disable IPv6 but that may require some additional steps.
