An unexpected error occurred:

There were too many requests of a given type :: Error creating new order :: too many certificates already issued for exact set of domains:

i ran into an issue trying to renew on our server, and now i am stuck, is there any way to fix this? i had an issue with the old cert, and i removed it, and the new cert, and now i cant renew for a week.

You've issued **FIVE** certificates before hitting that specific rate limit. You might have deleted the _old_ certificate, but I hope you didn't delete all the five **NEW** certificates, right?

What issue would make you **purposely** generate **five** certificates without being able to use **any** of them? May I point out the [staging environment](https://letsencrypt.org/docs/staging-environment/) for testing things? That way you won't run into rate limits that soon **and** you won't **abuse** the Let's Encrypt production servers with unnecessary added load.
