Question Regarding Blocking Via Encryption

My school uses Let's Encrypt to block specific sites, but not for everyone. I can look up something like "Mexico" and if I stay on the tab for too long an encryption of an image pops up. I'm not entirely sure how encryption works, but I know it is very annoying and it prevents me from getting things done efficiently.

Let's Encrypt offers TLS certificates. They don't offer "blocking" of any kind.

Please elaborate on how and/or why Let's Encrypt would be involved in what you're seeing?

Also, "encryption" doesn't "block" anything either.

In the site data it said there was a Let's Encrypt certificate.
Would it redirect?

That has nothing to do with any blocking you're experiencing. And if you're having problems with your school's content-blocking policy, or the software that enforces it, you should be directing those questions to your school.

That could well be the case. So? Please read into what TLS certificates are, what they do and thus also don't do.. Don't make unfounded assumptions!

Would what redirect? Not a TLS certificate, no.
