Published LE IPv6 ranges?

Hi Folks,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

Does LE publicise the IPv6 range it uses to validate domains? I’d like to ensure reach ability over IPv6 so it would be good to have some IPs to do standard traceroutes to.

Thanks,

the answer is no

have a search of this forum as it has been discussed in depth

What IP addresses does Let’s Encrypt use to validate my web server?

We don’t publish a list of IP addresses we use to validate, because they may change at any time. In the future we may validate from multiple IP addresses at once.

Hi @laf,

As shared by @ahaw021 (Thanks!) we don't publish this information.

I think you might be approaching this backwards. I would find any external IPv6 host (e.g. a new DigitalOcean instance with IPv6 support) and traceroute & test from that vantage point to your server. That will more closely replicate the Let's Encrypt Validation Authority connecting to your server over IPv6.

Hope that help,
