# Public beta - is it actually happening?

I’ve been following Let’s Encrypt for several months, and have been very excited for it to become public, and today is the day. However, the website still says Limited Beta. Can you provide more information on how to access the public beta?

It’s alright up and running! I just tried it and it works perfectly!

it is live now and working [Let's Encypt Enters Public Beta](https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/lets-encypt-enters-public-beta/4993/19) 🙂
