Problem trying to installing nginx in ubuntu

Hello , im new doing server shit and i tryied but got really confused , thanks for the help :smiley:

My domain is:

I ran this command: sudo ampinstmgr setupnginx 80

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: i dont have , i buy a pc to work like a server

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don't know): yes

I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): no

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you're using Certbot): dont know :c

Hi @ckeer7, and welcome to the LE community forum :slight_smile:

If nginx is being used, you should first have a fully functional web site before trying to secure it.
[I could be wrong; as I'm not familiar with `ampinstmgr`.]
But it is always nice to see more and more ways that LE certs are being used :slight_smile:

I'm also blocked form accessing HTTP (TCP port 80).
Are you sure you have a working HTTP site?

no , i dont a have a http site , im just trying to bound amp , its a software to manage minecraft server or steam games , the sofware creates a local web page to manage the game server , im trying to use a domain to give access to my admins , because only I can access to the local web page produced by amp. sorry for my english :c
