On-premise AU and wildcard certificate

Hello, I have a question. I purchased a wildcard certificate, and I would like to set up an on-premise certification authority that would use this certificate to sign the certificates for various web servers in my company. Is this possible? Thank you very much for your responses.

Even if it was possible (which it is not), that would be completely outside of the scope of Let's Encrypt, as Let's Encrypt doesn't offer payed certificates. Please refer to the CA where you bought the certificate from with regard to these kind of questions.

Hi @Joukov, and welcome to the LE community forum

That's not possible.
The wildcard cert is like a license to drive.
With that license you can operate a vehicle on the road.
But with that license you can't then license others to also drive their vehicles on the road.

Not to say that what you want isn't possible; It is.
You just need a very different [and way more expensive] license type.
A license type that LE doesn't provide.
LE is only in the business of providing FREE licenses.
