Well, that would the `~auto` script actually do _for_ you… And it _should_ take care of all dependencies…

But for some reason your [datetime Python module](https://docs.python.org/2/library/datetime.html) could not be found. That’s actually pretty weird, because it’s a built-in module.

There are a few sites which relate to this problem, such as [http://askubuntu.com/questions/509283/python-no-module-named-datetime](http://askubuntu.com/questions/509283/python-no-module-named-datetime)

[Try Google for `datetime python ubuntu`](https://www.google.nl/search?q=datetime+python&oq=datetime+python#q=datetime+python+ubuntu&*).

I am using this command for renewing the certificate
./letsencrypt-auto renew --dry-run. Can you please help me to understand where to put auto ?

I downloaded using ln -s /usr/lib/python2.7/lib-dynload/datetime.x86\_64-linux-gnu.so /usr/lib/python2.7/lib-dynload/datetime.so but its throwing error.
