Let's encypt without cerbot

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a way to obtain a signed certificate without using Certbot,
or any automated tool.

I did not decide yet whether I ll use let’s encrypt or not.

I would like to get a certificate and see what it looks like before using it on my production server;
so I would feel more confortable if I could just get a signed certificate without installing new applications or libraries on my server.
Is it possible?

Yes, there are a great many clients to choose from, but you’ll probably want to use one of the browser-based clients listed at that link. I prefer ZeroSSL, but there are a few options.
