Not sure if defining "near future" matters much, as Aaron says there are no plans for the near future. I.e., if there are plans, those are plans for somewhere in the far future. Defining "near" would not actually present a reasonable time table for any plans in that far future I'd say 
Maybe just a minimum amount of time where you're certain it doesn't get implemented, but by no means an actual number you can count on.
