hi,

i received an email about certificate expiry about an expiring certificate in 19 days. i had to double check my machine to make sure it wasn't actually expiring.. since i'd changed the SANs on the cert, it seems this expiry is for the old cert since my current one has 62 days left.

my feature request is that when sending these emails, the certificate fingerprint is included in the email so that one can uniquely identify which certificate the email is talking about, rather than just using the subject/common name. as certificate fingerprint is already public in CT logs, i don't imagine it would be much of a problem to include it.

Not a direct answer but now you can use ari To mark a certificate as renewal even when it's not direct match.
