Let's Encrypt certificate expiration notice for domain "echo.ordont.club"

echo.ordont.club - this was not set up by me or I don't remember it; please remove the certificate right away.

The list of domains I should still have access to is:

  • ioan.blog
  • travel.charity

Until further notice, thank you

Firstly, certificates can't be "removed". Secondly, why?

It's unfortunately possible by anyone to enter any emaiil address for any new ACME account and issue certificates with that account. Also, in the past some larger hosting providers with a certain control panel had an issue that one of the customers also got expiration notices for domains of other customers.. Not great.

Why you got this expiration notice, I don't know. But you'll only get two in total per certificate, so with any luck you'll get one in a few weeks and that's it.

Someone had to request that cert at some point. Let's Encrypt will not issue certs without a request.

And, right now an nginx web server is using that cert and responding to requests. The home page is a login page for "Goals"

If that's not your system then does someone else have use of the ordont.club domain name?

By the way, echo.ordont.club and ioan.blog both resolve to the same IP address (51.15.82.94), which seems to be hosted by Scaleway. Maybe they made a mistake?
