Is my new approved Rate Limit for 1000 or 3000?

hello,

I have recently got an email confirming my request to increase rate limit for amount of certificates per registered domain.
the limit has been increased from 50 to 1000-3000.
I'm trying to understand what does this range mean, as id rather enforce the limit internally.
can i be blocked after 1000 or 2000 certificates?

thanks

the 1000-300 option was listed on the request form as one of the options available.
just wondered if anyone had experience with limits of that sort.

Actually have no idea, but I guess it'd be 1000 is safe number and you'd have to push it to limit to get actual limit

Hi,

I processed the rate limit adjustments this week and will usually default to the higher number in the range unless we have a specific reason not to. In those cases the e-mail response will hopefully have a little more context as to why and what specific limits we ended up changing. In this case, your new rate limit is going to be 3,000.

Hopefully this rate limit makes sense for your use, if it doesn't, you're always welcome to contact us again to request further adjustments based on the usage patterns your service experiences.

Thanks!
Brad
