How to Renew / Auto Renew for Synology DDNS?

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: sacmmp.synology.me

I ran this command:

I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): Yes, kind of ... Synology Disk Station Manager

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you're using Certbot): I don't know; I've setup DDNS on a Synology Disk Station

Hi and welcome to the Let's Encrypt community forum.

It seems that you were able to get a cert a few months ago:
crt.sh | sacmmp.synology.me

But you are now unable to renew it and possibly want to automate those renewals.
You mention:

But global DNS can't resolve that name to an IP:
*** 8.8.8.8 can't find sacmmp.synology.me: Non-existent domain
*** 1.1.1.1 can't find sacmmp.synology.me: Non-existent domain
*** 4.2.2.2 can't find sacmmp.synology.me: Non-existent domain
[this will be critical to the HTTP authenticated renewal process]

Has anything changed within the network since the cert was issued?
