Please note that it is an industry requirement to use certain ports when validating your control of a domain name. For the most-used method, the Let's Encrypt CA only allows port 80

So if your NAS isn't accessible from the Internet on port 80, you may not be able to get Let's Encrypt certificates in an automated way, or renew them in an automated way, on the NAS device itself.
