How to get Let's Encrypt private key from Fortinet appliances?

Hi there. I have a Fortinet FortiClient EMS server that is currently getting its cert from Let's Encrypt but I'm working on getting it behind an AWS load balancer. When setting up the load balancer, you upload your cert as well as the private key. I was able to download the cert but how are you able to obtain the private key?

Thanks!

That would be a question for whatever support channels Fortinet provides. But do you need to deploy that cert to AWS? Is possible instead to create a different cert, with its own private key under your control, and upload those to the load balancer?

Have you explored using a cert issued by AWS ACM instead of uploading a custom cert?

We are not AWS support either but this may be something to explore

I'll check that out -- thanks!

In case it helps someone who finds this post in the future, the cert and private key are in the following location:

/usr/local/forticlientems/data/certs/
