# How to create ...?

hi, i wolud like to create a wildcardcert. for two subdomains

how did it work …?

Hi,

You can  
1.Install any command line client that works (a list of clients [https://letsencrypt.org/docs/client-options/](https://letsencrypt.org/docs/client-options/) )  
(or use web based like [sslforfree.com](http://sslforfree.com), [zerossl.com](http://zerossl.com))  
2.Use DNS validation , generate records for your correxponding domain.  
3.input txt records to your DNS hosting.  
4. Validate the record,  
5. get the certificate  
6. deploy it.

(For wildcards in particular, the “clients that work” will have to be from the ACMEv2-compatible section there.)
