Error updating certificate

Hey,

I’m using Lets Encrypt with certbot on my server, running https://resource-packs.de/

I updated the page some weeks ago (and the main folder changed, with the .well-known).

I need to update the certificate now, but I can’t due to the following error:

Domain: resource-packs.de
   Type:   unauthorized
   Detail: Invalid response from
   http://resource-packs.de/.well-known/acme-challenge/JsQh7qsOj_59EqQCeXiJBNAjNEsguHsq8LQ57t39MKU:
   "<html>
   <head><title>404 Not Found</title></head>
   <body bgcolor="white">
   <center><h1>404 Not Found</h1></center>
   <hr><center>"

What can I do to fix this?

You probably need to bypass the https redirection and/or detail exactly where the challenge request folder is located.
try using something like:
Alias /.well-known/acme-challenge /local/path/to/challenge

Than you can place a “test.txt” file at that challenge location and ensure it is available from the Internet.

You can update this location by editing /etc/letsencrypt/renewal/resource-packs.de.conf (or whatever that file is called on your system), and changing the location of the webroot directory to reflect the correct current location. Then you can try re-running certbot renew.
