Error in LetsEncrypt::add:: error:rateLimited

My domain is: swiss-scp.ch / https://crt.sh/?q=swiss-scp.ch

I ran this command: Install SSL with Infomaniak Manager

It produced this output:

Error in LetsEncrypt::add:: error:rateLimited",
Error: um:acme:error:rateLimited :: There were too many requests of a given type :: Error creating new cert :: too many certificates already issued for exact set of domains: swiss-scp.ch,www.swiss-scp.ch: see https://letsnecrypt.org/docs/rate-limits

My web server is (include version): Apache 2.4.25

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): I don’t know. I’m hosted by Infomaniak.com

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: infomaniak.com

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): I’m not sure

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): yes but is a infomaniak panel.

Can you help reset my rate limit, because my administrators need to connect to my website on phones, tablets on public wireless points… and there is a risk of man in the middle attacks.
If yes, thanks a lot. And I need to wait, can you give me the time I need to wait ?
Thanks for your help !

  • The rate limit cannot be suddenly lifted, only long term stuff could be set in motion. Nothing which would help you now. You should wait 7 days or add any other hostname to the current list of hostnames, as the current rate limit you’ve hit is specifically for the duplicate certificates. Adding another hostname would mean the certificate isn’t a duplicate any more. But I don’t know if that’s possible with your control panel.
  • Even more important you should contact your hoster! Why isn’t the button in the control panel working? Why are the issued certificates not installed on the webserver?
