I try to setup mailstore server and i can choose obtain a certificate with let’s encrypte and when i did it i got the message : DNS name does not have enough labels
where i have to recors a A or CNAME ? on the VM with mailstore or on my DNS Server ?

which domain name did you used?
You can only create a certificate with a public visible, worldwide unique domain name.
You can't create a Letsencrypt certificate with localhost or something else as domain name.

Can you share the exact command you ran when you got this error message? If @JuergenAuer's idea that the domain itself is invalid isn't correct it's possible that you entered the domain name in your command in a way that is causing the error.
