Email received query

Hi,

I'm getting an email from expiry@letsencrypt.org Expiry Bot saying my domain is expired, I don't know how to renew it this is the content of my email below.

Hello,

Your certificate (or certificates) for the names listed below will expire in 0 days (on 06 Nov 21 19:55 +0000). Please make sure to renew your certificate before then, or visitors to your web site will encounter errors.

We recommend renewing certificates automatically when they have a third of their total lifetime left. For Let's Encrypt's current 90-day certificates, that means renewing 30 days before expiration. See Integration Guide - Let's Encrypt for details.

For details about when we send these emails, please visit: Expiration Emails - Let's Encrypt In particular, note that this reminder email is still sent if you've obtained a slightly different certificate by adding or removing names. If you've replaced this certificate with a newer one that covers more or fewer names than the list above, you may be able to ignore this message.

If you are receiving this email in error, unsubscribe at:

Please note that this would also unsubscribe you from other Let's Encrypt service notices, including expiration reminders for any other certificates.

How did you acquire your certificate originally? Through DSM?

Hi, thanks is it installed right? crt.sh | kuyenmotdivad.synology.me

I can confirm that you successfully acquired at least two wildcard certificates. I can't confirm installation on your NAS since I don't know what port(s) you are securing with the certificate. I tried ports 443 and 5001 over HTTPS, but couldn't reach your NAS.

Hi, I'm using port 5001 for https and 5000 for http, i'll bring my nas online now. When I use the website (kuyenmotdivad.synology.me) it seems to use the ssl cert but if i use the ip address (https://192.168.0.2) it says its unsecure.

I still can't reach:
https://kuyenmotdivad.synology.me:5001

Let's Encrypt only offers domain-validated (DV) certificates. At present, Let's Encrypt has not released any plans for issuing certificates that cover IP address SANs. Even if they did, they wouldn't issue a certificate covering a reserved (private) IP address like 192.168.0.2.

OK, thanks if it's letting me on using the domain name does it mean its configured correct? DiskStation - Synology DiskStation (kuyenmotdivad.synology.me)

It's still unreachable to me. If you are able to click the link you provided and get the login page with a lock in your address bar and no warnings, you're probably good.
