# Email notification even tough the cert is renewed

Hello  
Our domain is: [http://api.justlikeapi.io/](http://api.justlikeapi.io/) but we just received a “expiration notice” email.  
We have renewed the certificate till 22-Oct and when checked via browser, expiration is set to 22-Oct-2019, but we received an email that the certificate will expire on the 13-Aug.

Why did we receive email if we already performed renewal?

Letsencrypt doesn't know if you use the certificate with one or with two domain names. The second isn't renewed -\> that's the mail.
