Domain installation on replacement server not verifiede

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. crt.sh | example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is:
remote.billeskov.us
I ran this command:
clicked get let's encrypt certificate
It produced this output:
Validation failed. Challenge failed for this domain(s) remote.billeskov.us
My web server is (include version):

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version):
Nethserver u7.9
My hosting provider, if applicable, is:
I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don't know):
yes
I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel):
cockpit
The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you're using Certbot):don't know

My server died, installed everything on new server and now I cannot get certificate, previous certificate was ezpiring in July 2023

I'm confused. If your certificate was to expire in July of 2023 it almost
certainly was not issued by Let's Encrypt, who issues only 90 day certificates. Are you sure you are addressing the correct forum ?

Their most recent cert expires 2023-06-07. Maybe they just got the day and month switched around?

They have a long history of Let's Encrypt certs (see crt.sh)

@vbn I don't know anything about your system so sorry can't help. Is there a cockpit forum? Are there any error logs describing the error? You have not given us much info to work with

It looks like comms to your domain are failing. You should check out this error:

I may be misremembering the information about expiry. It definitely was a let's encrypt certificate, that is the only option if you want to use the automatic installation available in Nethserver
