My domain is:githireyout.ddns. net

I ran this command:

It produced this output:

My web server is (include version):apache

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version):ubuntu 14.04lts on virtual box and host is windows 10

My hosting provider, if applicable, is:no ip is my domain provider

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know):yes

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel):yes

I get connection timeout during connect(most likely firewall problem). I have opened both ports 80 and 443

I also get connection timeout.
Are you sure that your ISP is allowing port 80 and 443 to reach your device?
Also please validate your present IP - now seen as 102.166.134.169

Hi @steveyout

I see also a timeout. Is there a firewall?

#4

Yes but i have allowed port 80 and 443 and also turned off firewall on the host

#5

Yes i ran sudo ufw status and it shows port 80 and 443 are open

#6

Maybe your ISP doesn’t allow inbound connections on port 80 from the Internet?

#7

So how do i go about it?

#8

Allows this configuration (main system windows 10, virtual box with ubuntu) external connection?

#9

Oh yeah, maybe VirtualBox and/or Windows 10 aren’t allowing the connection to reach the VM guest!

#10

I have switched to bridged network on the virtual box but it doesnt work either

#11

Yes main system is windows 10 and ubuntu is running on virtual box
