Confused "installed" and "active" certificates

My installed certificate seems to be OK (see below the dotted line) but when linking to the website the browser shows a bad certificate:
This certificate has expired or is not yet valid
Issued to:
Issued by: Let’s Encrypt Authority X3
Valid from 5/19/2019 to 8/17/2019

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you’re using Certbot): certbot 0.31.0

Hi @thomasol

did you restart your server?

There is a ~~new certificate ( ):

Issuer not before not after Domain names LE-Duplicate next LE
Let's Encrypt Authority X3 2019-07-18 2019-10-16,
2 entries

But both connections use the expired certificate
1 days expired, - 2 entries

That was it. Thank you very much. I should have thought of that.
