Certificates renewal and Apple OS Mail

Some services (most web servers, for example) have a mechanism to "reload" the configuration, which will re-read the server's configuration files and certificate(s) without service interruption--I don't know if postfix or dovecot support this.

A simple postfix reload would suffice and on my Gentoo my Dovecot init script also has a reload option. The latter seems to be sending the HUP signal to Dovecot somehow.
