My domain is: mercury.foundation

I ran this command: cerbot

It produced this output: An unexpected error occurred:
There were too many requests of a given type :: Error creating new cert :: too many certificates already issued for exact set of domains: mercury.foundation: see [https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/](https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/)

My web server is (include version): nginx

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): ubuntu 16.1

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: hetzner

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): yes

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): no

I was trying to renew this cert but it says me about some errors about (not about limits). I did it few times, but it gaves me same errors. So, i just delete all folders and was tying to make a new cert, but i used all 5 tryes when was trying to fix errors. So now my website without any cert and i cant wait a week. what to do?

Try adding another name to the cert:
`-d mercury.foundation -d www.mercury.foundation`

Hi @pavelevap

there are 5 certificates created yesterday:

[https://transparencyreport.google.com/https/certificates?cert\_search\_auth=&cert\_search\_cert=&cert\_search=include\_expired:false;include\_subdomains:false;domain:mercury.foundation&lu=cert\_search](https://transparencyreport.google.com/https/certificates?cert_search_auth=&cert_search_cert=&cert_search=include_expired:false;include_subdomains:false;domain:mercury.foundation&lu=cert_search)

But your website [https://mercury.foundation/](https://mercury.foundation/) has a certificate of dev.mercury.foundation.

So you may have new certificates, but they are not used.

What says certbot certificates?
