Certificates for in-house servers using non-public domain names

I have a number of Windows servers running IIS 8.5 that we use for testing and for in-house application use only. They use non-public domain names like mytestlab.com and mytestrack.com. All have access to the internet. Can I use LetsEncrypt certificates in such a configuration?

Domain validated certificates can - by definition - only issued for existing domains.
