# Certificate - Renewal free?

Hello,

Sorry for my question, but I just read about Let's Encrypt and I saw that is free for 90 days, but I didn't understand if the renewal is also free or do I have to pay it?

Letsencrypt is completely free.

First certificate and renews.

Too funny. And I'm surprised I've never heard anyone ask that question before.  
But as you now know LE is not here to get you addicted and then start charging you - LOL
