Certificate has Expired but was registered by another person

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is:shop.ham5teak.xyz

I ran this command:N/A

It produced this output:

My web server is (include version):Craftingstore generated

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version):

My hosting provider, if applicable, is:

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know):No`

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel):
No
The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you’re using Certbot):No idea

It would seem that the certificate was generated by the previous owner of the domain - how on earth do I renew it?

Hi @Magician

checking your domain you use ip addresses from craftingstore - https://check-your-website.server-daten.de/?q=shop.ham5teak.xyz

Host Type IP-Address is auth. ∑ Queries ∑ Timeout
shop.ham5teak.xyz CNAME dns.craftingstore.net yes 1 0
A 78.47.244.59 Nuremberg/Bavaria/Germany (DE) - Hetzner Online GmbH Hostname: craftingstore.lb2.cloudprotected.net yes
A 88.198.98.141 Nuremberg/Bavaria/Germany (DE) - Hetzner Online GmbH Hostname: lb3.cloudprotected.net yes
A 137.74.155.161 Amsterdam/North Holland/Netherlands (NL) - OVH SAS Hostname: craftingstore.lb6.cloudprotected.net yes

So they should have an integrated solution to renew the certificate.

You can't do that because you don't have root access.

Check that system configuration or ask there.
