Certificate for .productions tld

Hallo,

I´m using PESK with the lets encrypt extension. When i try to create a certificate for .productions tld I get the following error message:

My domain is: bigbadwolf.productions

It produced this output:

My web server is : Linux

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: Strato

I’m using a control panel to manage my site: PLESK

Any idea why?

This appears to be a bug with Plesk’s certificate management.

The .productions TLD has been listed on the Public Suffix List since 2013 and there should be no problems issuing for it from Let’s Encrypt’s side.

Please contact your hosting provider’s support so they can work with Plesk to resolve the issue.

In addition to what @Patches said, you already issued 6 certificates for your domain today:

And you have issued 5 certificates covering the same two domains bigbadwolf.productions & www.bigbadwolf.productions so you have reached the limit of 5 duplicate certificates per 7 days, so I think the error you are seeing is because you hit this limit.

Very Dr. Strange.

I can not remember having created so many.
So should I wait 7 days before I try again or can I use one of the certificates?
Sorry i am an absolute beginner what ssl is concerned.

You have issued several certificates but I can't be sure they are saved in your server. I don't use Plesk so I know nothing about how it works or manages the conf and issued certs so I think the best you can do is explain the problem to your hosting provider and they should be able to check and solve the issue or guide you to use the right process for your environment.
