Certificate did not renew. Now I need to start over?

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. crt.sh | example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: wesimplifyit.com

I ran this command:

It produced this output:

My web server is (include version):

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version):

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: GoDaddy.com

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don't know): I don't know.

I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): CPanel 118.0.13

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you're using Certbot):

You don't need to start over, but you need to find out why renewal failed. You should dig up the appropriate logs.

It's quite likely whatever is stopping a renewal will also stop a new issue from scratch. (They're almost literally the same procedure)

Apparently GoDaddy does not support this Auto-Renew process unless you are buying THEIR SSL certificates (for 10x the cost of everyone else). I have to buy a cert now and manually install it. UGH.

Wait on that.
Have a look at CertSage:
CertSage ACME client (version 1.4.2) - easy webpage interface, optimized for cPanel, no commands to type, root not required - Client dev - Let's Encrypt Community Support (letsencrypt.org)

You could switch to a different service provider. There was a list of ones that directly supported Let's Encrypt but there are so many that the list was discontinued.

And supplemental DNS providers who easily integrate with Let's Encrypt DNS validation
