Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. [crt.sh | example.com](https://crt.sh/?q=example.com)), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is:

> **[React App](https://lecturalink.com)**
>
> Web site created using create-react-app

I ran this command:
sudo certbot --nginx -d [lecturalink.com](http://lecturalink.com) -d [www.lecturalink.com](http://www.lecturalink.com)
It produced this output:
Saving debug log to /var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log
Requesting a certificate for [lecturalink.com](http://lecturalink.com) and [www.lecturalink.com](http://www.lecturalink.com)

Certbot failed to authenticate some domains (authenticator: nginx). The Certificate Authority reported these problems:
Domain: [lecturalink.com](http://lecturalink.com)
Type: unauthorized
Detail: 2a02:4780:b:838:0:334f:2a4b:3: Invalid response from [http://lecturalink.com/.well-known/acme-challenge/jtLwgoFSs4n2bxNwiY3My5DiJ\_zUOmtHWJsu7oIOOLc:](http://lecturalink.com/.well-known/acme-challenge/jtLwgoFSs4n2bxNwiY3My5DiJ_zUOmtHWJsu7oIOOLc:) 404

Hint: The Certificate Authority failed to verify the temporary nginx configuration changes made by Certbot. Ensure the listed domains point to this nginx server and that it is accessible from the internet.

Your DNS AAAA record for IPv6 is not set to the right address. You should correct that. If you won't have IPV 6 support then you need to remove that AAAA record.

Please follow the recommended installation for `certbot` on `Ubuntu` [with `nginx`]:
[Certbot Instructions | Certbot (eff.org)](https://certbot.eff.org/instructions?ws=nginx&os=ubuntufocal)
[installation instructions for `Ubuntu 20` will also work for `Ubuntu 22`]
