# Caddetting up let’s encrypt for caddy

If I'm reading the official documentation for HTTPS on Caddy at [Automatic HTTPS — Caddy Documentation](https://caddyserver.com/docs/automatic-https) it seems HTTPS is implicitely enabled automatically? Are you sure it isn't enabled already?
