It seemed to suggest commands to run to find out why it failed to start.
I posted those in myreply, just that I tried to restart too soon but not how to ACTUALLy restart

Are there nginx error logs in /var/log/nginx?
It takes a level head… yes the conf file had a duplicate line, so stopping an restarting read the error and failed. Seems fine now, well it started at least. And the certificate works.
