Adding to, changing existing certificate

I'm running acme.sh. I have an LE certificate for
mail.dom.ain
imap.dom.ain
smtp.dom.ain
www.dom.ain

Now I would like to include

dom.ain

in addition.

Should I wipe out any existing certificate and create a new one? Or can I add "dom.ain" in hindsight?

Certificates once created are immutable, so you'd be creating a new cert with the five domain names. Presumably replacing the old one.
