# ACME specification locationn

Hi

Just wondering where the current ACME specifications are to read as I saw multiple (ie, the IETF site, github, etc)

The version on GitHub is the one with the most recent changes. The latest draft would be acme-02, _basically_ a snapshot from March.

Boulder currently implements the acme-01 draft, which can be found at [https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-acme-acme-01](https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-acme-acme-01). If you’re looking for a specification explaining how Let’s Encrypt works today, that’s probably what you’re looking for.
