Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. [https://crt.sh/?q=example.com](https://crt.sh/?q=example.com)), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is:
seem.nu

I ran this command:
./acme.sh --issue --dns dns\_loopia -d seem.nu -d \*.seem.nu --debug 2

It produced this output:
[Wed Sep 30 10:19:01 PM CEST 2026] invalid domain
[Wed Sep 30 10:19:01 PM CEST 2026] Error adding TXT record to domain: \_acme-challenge.seem.nu
[Wed Sep 30 10:19:01 PM CEST 2026] \_on\_issue\_err
[
I also see this in the debug log. I have seen this discussed in other posts:
[Wed Sep 30 08:39:10 PM CEST 2026] 'dns\_loopia' does not contain 'dns'

./acme.sh --version
v3.1.6

The primary support channel for acme.sh is here:

> **[GitHub - acmesh-official/acme.sh: A pure Unix shell script ACME client for SSL / TLS...](https://github.com/acmesh-official/acme.sh)**
>
> A pure Unix shell script ACME client for SSL / TLS certificate automation

When you ask there, I expect they'll want you to post more detail about the error, which you can get using the `--debug` flag, as described here:

> **[How to debug acme.sh](https://github.com/acmesh-official/acme.sh/wiki/How-to-debug-acme.sh)**
>
> A pure Unix shell script ACME client for SSL / TLS certificate automation - acmesh-official/acme.sh

Just for the record: The problem was with the GUI on LOOPIA. Whenever I edited the rights for the API token, the passord/secret was reset. I had to add the password every time I edited the rights for the API token.
