# 49 / 10000 АНГЛИЙСКИЙ Перевести вGoogleBing How do I change the encryption type from AES 128 to AES 256?

I use Certbot, put an SSL certificate on the site, and it has 128 bit encryption. I want to put 256, the site is for payments.

That would be a setting in your webserver configuration, You would need to provide more information such as what software you are using and your webserver configuration file.

One thing to keep in mind however is according to my brief googling (don’t quote me on this, absolute consult an expert on compliance) 128 bit encryption is acceptable according to PCI requirements.

that's a question of your "Cipher suites". There are some generators.
