2nd Email Reminder but Already Renewed

There is a small problem with the email reminder system.

Checked - valid certificate still in place.

If anyone from Let’s Encrypt wants more information please feel free to ask - hopefully my serial number will help you.

You have previously requested a certificate (serial 03:d2:bc:dc:38:a6:3e:b1:4c:1f:a0:7e:65:a2:e3:dc:43:27) only containing your base domain (no www.), and then another one including www. (serial 03:c4:bb:8a:7b:fc:0e:0d:53:a8:53:8c:23:a0:9c:5a:3a:e2). The renewal message you’re receiving is for the one without www..

Let’s Encrypt treats each combination of FQDNs separately when it comes to renewal (because it doesn’t actually check which certificate you’re using, and thus can’ be certain whether it’s a replacement or just a separate certificate). This will happen whenever you add additional domains to the same certificate.

I see. I didn’t realise that I had left the www-box unchecked.

Maybe the non-www cert was my first install and was corrected on the same day.

However I would have thought my (manual) renewal within Plesk now covers both.

No harm done… ’twas just an email and everything is working.
